Incorporating photovoltaic panels within its aerodynamical sails, Soleolico utilizes a patented magnetic system to precisely align them with the wind direction, optimizing the orientation of each candle to maximize energy extraction efficiency, and further enhance its overall performance and sustainability. 

This groundbreaking installation promises numerous benefits, from enhancing efficiency by harnessing various types of wind to reducing visual and environmental impact, among others. Moreover, operating quietly at approximately seven revolutions per minute, it ensures minimal disturbance to wildlife by mitigating noise and safety concerns. 

Soleolico features an exclusive coating enhanced with patented technology, crafted from natural elements. Indeed, the 3D-printed coating, developed by LAMÁQUINA using PURE.TECH technology, actively absorbs CO2. According to Aldo Sollazzo, PURE.TECH’s director, the installation of 1,000 Soleolico units is capable of absorbing the same amount of CO2 as 287 trees in a year, as shown by calculations derived from data provided by the European Environmental Agency and verified by certified laboratories. Additionally, the coating can be customized and crafted for the tower involved, utilizing 3D printing technology, to seamlessly blend with its surroundings or to achieve the desired aesthetic.
