Designer: Ulises Mérida

3D Design & Fabrication: LAMÁQUINA

Concept & Mannequin Design: Marcelo Vilá

For the Autumn/Winter 2020 runway of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, LAMÁQUINA collaborated with fashion designer Ulises Mérida to bring to life a striking 3D-printed piece for his Vals collection.

Vals Collection Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid

This sculptural “armor” was crafted as a reinterpretation of the classic corset, embracing the contours of the female form while breaking free from traditional materials and methods. Designed in collaboration with Marcelo Vilá and digitally fabricated by LAMÁQUINA, the piece was printed using 100% recyclable ABS, aligning aesthetics with sustainability.

The result is a bold, structural statement—both wearable and conceptual—that explores the interplay between fashion, technology, and the body. It reflects our commitment to pushing the boundaries of digital craftsmanship in contemporary design.
